Naomi's Magnificent Similes
The rock is as sharp as a sharks tooth.
The sky is as dark as midnight.
The snow is as cold as a polar bear.
The icicle is as sharp as a crystal.
We are a Y5/6 class who share our learning by being respectful, responsible and the best we can be.

Happy Cooks
The Leaping Leopards reading group read a School Journal article called 'Banana Triple-chocolate Muffins'.
We are learning to identify the author's purpose for reading. We decided that the author wrote this article to inform us about how to bake these muffins.
With the information we had learned from reading the article, we baked the muffins to share with our class for afternoon tea.
Yum!
Thank you Whaea Dee for the photos!
